Killloane is a rapper/songwriter born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. Being diagnosed with dyslexia as young child, Killloane struggled with spelling, reading and writing. Growing up, Killloane listened to Eminem everyday. He was so inspired by his words, skill and execution he started writing songs and freestlying to beats, only to be told by his father that he would never be a rapper. At the age of 15, Killloane's father walked out on the family, forcing him to leave school. He dived into full time work to support his mum and sister. At the start of 2020, his mum was diagnosed with brain tumors and cancer. Frustrated and unable to help his mother, Killloane had so much pain and emotions flowing through him that he didn't know how to express him self and how he felt. He took those raw emotions and created songs that would help himself and others who are in similar situations, to let them know that they're not alone. His lyrics are rich in eye opening truths that open your mind and speak to your heart and soul.
